Sea buckthorn seed oil is a powerful, nutrient-rich oil that is used in many cosmetic formulations as well as a nutritional supplement. Sea buckthorn seed oil is different in texture and consistency from the more common berry-derived oil. It's a lighter oil and is considered a "dry" oil that is absorbed by the skin more quickly than berry oil. It provides all essential fatty acids and has a near 1:1 ratio of Omega 3:6, which is considered ideal for the human body. It even includes superoxide dismutase, the strongest known antioxidant.
