Our Coconut Liquid Soap Base is a gentle, ready-to-use formula made by saponifying pure coconut oil—no synthetic detergents, sulfates, or harsh additives. Naturally foaming with a rich lather, this soap base has been diluted to 60% water, eliminating the need for further dilution and making it ideal for a wide variety of personal care formulations.

This product should be added to a formulation at the recommended usage rate.

NOTE: Not recommended as-is for a shampoo since it might be drying. The addition of conditioning agents might be helpful, but stability tests would be needed to ensure the formula doesn't separate. Use unscented (as-is) or add your own Fragrance or Essential Oils at a ratio up to 1%. No solubilizer needed. Add color by using liquid colorants. The base has a slight yellow tint so be sure to first test for compatibility in a small batch. Percentage of carrier oils or additives that can be added must be tested. This is a cold mix formula, so no heating is required. Just add your scent and/or colorant directly to the base and shake well or hand stir with a spatula at room temperature.
